Mr. Wray is responsible for developing and driving technology strategies, policies, and best practices to support the company's operational objectives.
Before joining BCBSRI, Mr. Wray spent nearly 20 years in the financial industry. From 1990 to 1993 he was Vice President at Shawmut Bank, and from 1993 until assuming his present position, Mr. Wray served in a variety of capacities at Citizens Financial Group. Most recently, he was Vice Chairman and Chief Information Officer at Citizens Financial Group.
Mr. Wray is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, and holds a Master's degree from Stanford University. Always active in the Rhode Island community, Mr. Wray currently serves on the Boards of Amos House, the Providence Performing Arts Center, and Providence Year Up.
