Bill Markey joined Armstrong - Franklin, a Liberty Capital Partner's Company in 2009. He has over 35 years experience in Executive Search and Professional Staffing. In 1997 he started The Wilmark Group, a search and professional staffing company with practices in Bio/Pharma, Technology, Accounting and Finance. Wilmark merged with Armstrong - Franklin in 2009. His first company, Positions Inc. was started in 1970 with a focus on middle management search and recruitment, with 14 locations from Boston to Atlanta. In 1987 Positions Inc. was acquired by Blue Arrow PLC (UK). Bill served as President (CEO) of all Blue Arrow Companies in the USA. Blue Arrow acquired Manpower Inc. in 1988. In 1992 he served as interim President (CEO) of Manpower. Bill started his career as a Marketing Product Manager with General Foods Corporation.
His participation on Boards includes; Board Member Livhome (CA), past Chairman Trustee emeritus of Babson College Board of Trustees, Chairman of Providence College Business Advisory Counsel, past Chairman of Big Sister Association, past President of National Association of Personnel Consultants.
Bill received a BA degree in Economics from Providence College and an MBA in Finance from Babson College.
